Salvia officinalis
Genus: Salvia.
Species: Salvia officinalis.
I grow purpurescens (with leaves flushed purple) and 'Icterina' (leaves with yellow markings) successfully. There is another, 'Tricolor', which is my favourite but is weaker growing and rarely comes throught the winter
