From berberys, the Arabic name for fruit. A small shrub from Japan, introduced in 1864.
Suitable for small gardens or planted en masse for a dramatic effect.
Flowers March to April with star like yellow flowers.
Height & spread in 5 years: 150cm x 100cm. Prune to shape as required.
