Bushbernie's Garden
Double Gerbera
Gerberas are perennials in cool to sub-tropical zones. In cold climates they will go dormant over the winter period. They do best in full sun and are happiest in a warm climate, where they stay evergreen.
Gerberas flower on long stems that appear above dull green foliage. They can flower as single, semi-double or double in a variety of colours.
The centres are usually black, yellow or green.
