Azalea ‘Cannon’s Double’

Another one I had to leave behind.

Azalea 'Cannon's Double' is a small deciduous shrub, flowering in the spring and maintaining its foliage from summer to autumn. Boasting stunning soft apricot and vibrant pink-toned flowers, the large, rounded trusses contrast beautifully with the deep green leaves. Its compact size makes it ideal for potting and small gardens, and its combination of hardiness and low maintenance has earned it the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

'Cannon's Double' will flourish in humus-rich, acidic soil in partial shade. The soil should be kept moist if the plant is placed in full sun. The shrub should be sheltered from frost pockets and needs to be mulched annually. It has an ultimate height and spread of approximately 2.5 x 1.5 meters.
