Leptinella 'Platts Black' (alpine)
Species: Leptinella squalida.
bought from ebay summer 2007 planted at front of middle bed right hand side next to blue grass.
vigorous ground cover which forms dense mats of foillege which surpress weeds.
deep purple/black fern like leaves which are darker in colour with more sun but it will tollerate shade as well but the leaves turn more green.
flowers are deep purple/black june - july.
