Dahlias my all time favourites Grew most of my Dahlias from seed ,I do buy at least one new tubar a year almost fifty dahlias in my collection now Love a sunny spot in well drained soil .they need some protection from slug/snail in there early stage but once they get a bit big they are fine Tubers need to be lifted in winter ,or given some protection recomended that they are lifted after the frost turns their leaves black .Need to be stored in a frost free place over winter Cuttings can be taken from mature tubars the following year
