Raquel's Garden
Geranium (scented)
Genus: Pelargonium.
Species: Pelargonium odoratissimum.
I read about the old-fashioned scented geraniums and wanted one. I thought I wouldn't find any, but I did at Wabash! I was surprised but pleased. I have the one that smells like spices, though. I have tried to find the botanical name, and from the description of the plant, I think my geranium is actually the apple-scented variety. With time I have been able to smell the spices...and the geranium has been blooming on and off now for months so I am happy, I love seeing the white flowers even though they're quite small.
