Petunias
Genus: Petunia.
Species: Petunia x hybrida.
I love petunias, and I love them to cascade over the containers! Last year I planted 'Daddy Blue' and 'Cascade White' and they did indeed spill over the container. This year I tried a smaller petunia in pink and purple but never got the results I did last year. Eventually I planted "Dreams Midnight" a very deep purple flower, and this Spring have added a deep burgundy petunia to hopefully fill out the container. I have also moved them to a location that is still sunny but has more shade. I plan to have petunias every summer.
