Species: Portulaca grandiflora.
Last year I planted portulaca and it was just gorgeous. This year, wanting to try other things, I didn't plant any. I haven't decided if I will plant it again next year - I might - simply because it guarantees you a ton of flowers and flowers make me happy! You don't even have to water it that much! This year I have planted portulaca "Sundial Mix." It's beautiful though the flowers are not as big as I expected.
