I've got this in a very damp shady and a bit windy area. Its new in the ground at the beginning of the season (as is everything in my garden!) It has coped well after being in a pot for a year waiting for me to get the garden ready but has suffered a little bit of leaf damage from my placing it next to a scratchy brick wall. It is in about four inches of new topsoil with a tiny bit of cold compost on solid clay.
