Love your seed store. The one you call 4 o'clock seeds.I know them as Mirabilis{spelling} Do they have yellow scented flowers? Our are not frost hardy so either have to collect the seed each year or dig up the plant to overwinter them..

Thanks! Yes Tina2, they are Mirabilis jalapa, and the flowers can be red, white, pink or yellow, although I have almost all pink this year, with only 1 yellow plant ( saved seed from that so hopefully more next year). This is my first year with them, but my neighbours say theirs self seed and come back in spring...time will tell!

I saved seed from many of the plants I had in the garden this year, I'd be happy to do a list if you or anyone else in Canada is interested in a seed swap.
