Oh my...that does sound delicious! I've only eaten the dried ones...can't imagine what it would belike to eat off the tree.

Lori, they're nothing like the dried ones - deliciously sweet but not as sickly - a bit like a dried prune and a lovely tasty fresh juicy plum .....

someday, I hope, I'll be able to taste figs from the tree! good analogy..prune is to plum as dried fig is to fresh fig! lol. would it be an acquired taste, do you think? I actually like prunes better than I like plums!!

I reckon that fresh figs are tastier than dried figs - they're nectar sweet and not as sickly and gooey/rubbery ...... it wouldn't take you long to acquire the taste Lori !!
