9 Sep. 2010.
They are everywhere.
I wonder what they do.
Hope they do no harm to any of my plants =)

Is this in France?

Yes Meanie. They like to hang around with the fellow insects (or extended families?). I have no idea what they are doing; discussing plans for the future? Strange creature.. But they are (kind of) pretty. They seem to love the sand stones somehow.

Can't help you with an id though, sorry!

Don't worry Meanie.
I don't want to know the ID :D

they are shield bugs but not sure if they do any harm or which ones they are,

Thank you Sanbaz! Shield bugs!
Green or brown ones are familiar to me (they are deadly stinky!) but I've never seen these flashy ones. Normal ones often suck juice from pears and leave brown and hard spots on the fruits.. But I don't think these funky bugs do the same thing, but I don't know.. Thanks again Sanbaz!!!
