Sadly, even the hosta were drowning so I had to build up a box here by the end of the summer.

Thanks, Bernieh! I do like it so much better than the plain grass I had before! Now I just need to get everything to fill in!

The pavers are all "rescued" pieces of granite and marble from a local fabricator's dumpster. They get a bit slick when they are wet but I think the look is worth it.
