The maori name for New Zealand is Aotearoa, which translates as 'Land of the Long White Cloud'. Looking at this photo which I took this morning from our back garden, it is easy to see why they called it that. Early spring sky. The cloud formation in NZ is quite spectacular & is like this all year round.
