I do love weathered wooden chairs as well , they look used and belong in the garden .........

Thanks Amy they were hand made in Devises and there are 2 different pairs, we got them at 1/2 price the first time we went shopping in Rochester for our first garden we also bought an urn and a bird bath all of which we are still enjoying.

You were very lucky Drc good wooden chairs cost a small fortune and you can see how well made yours are they should last you for many years to come .......

I still have the receipt Amy £50 each reduced in closing down sale to £25 each - £100 for the 4 a lot of money in 1978, but like new in condition and I love the way they have weathered. I have never stood them on anything but a patio as I think they may draw up moisture on grass and possible start to rot over time?

I love a bargain like that, that was an awful lot of money back then, almost a down deposit on a house .. Lol ...
That's wise to keep them on the patio, I'm afraid i'm nuts about nice wooden chairs, my hubby once counted them indoors and out I think he gave up at about 30. I love the styles and shapes. Take care of them :o)
