Woodmouse eating nuts on pyrocantha

Woodmouse eating nuts on pyrocantha

Unfortunately we had to cut down the pyrocantha which had got out of control - but the woodmouse (or his offspring) still finds his way onto the bird table when he thinks no-one is watching - he lives in an old chimney pot

Alison? What a great name for a little mouse - I should give ours a name and tend to think its a female, but obviously not sure. We're in Cheshire. I get paranoid when we get cats "lurking" and we've got a few owls & sparrowhawks even in the middle of town & get quite upset at the thought that they might catch her! I'm seeing the therapist tomorrow........
