Front lawn plot

We had a weedy unplanted spot in the front. From satellite photos of the house... and the 6 inch wide stump I discovered hidden under the mulch... I gather there had been some medium sized shrub or small tree there. I was casting about for another spot to plant veggies, and I figured the neighbors would surely prefer to see veggies in the front yard instead of weeds. So far, no one has complained... even though the cucumber wants to creep right out of the circle onto the lawn.
