Iris chrysographes

It took me three attempts to get this iris to grow. Although it likes a moist soil, it does not want to be waterlogged in winter. To give you some idea of the conditions it likes, it is growing with madonna lilies, geum 'Mrs Bradshaw', primula denticulata and the Japanese Blood Grass (imperata cylindrica)
