I love Irises. I have many, but noticed this year I had no pink irises. These were given to me by a friend. Photo taken 6/2007.

Thanks! Mine are in drier, sandy ground. They do fine with little care. I noticed I had no pink irises this Spring, so will have to get some next year.
Marguerite, yes, I love bringing them in. My sis-in-law does painting on china pieces & gave us this lovely vase last Christmas with her paintings of irises on it. Just a beautiful vase... When they were in bloom in May, I cut an arrangement and sent her a photo.

What a gorgeous colour. Mine havent flowered. They are new to this ground so hopefully they will do ok. I'm never sure if I should plant them in bone dry spots or soggy places. Mine is in wet but well drained with the rhyzomes slightly proud of the ground.
