Bush clover (hagi)

Hagi is very common flower for Japanese from ancient times. Many ancient poets make verses with hagi. If you find this flower at riverside or in mountains, you can find " the fall is coming."

Very interesting. It is a beautiful flower and not one that I would have immediately thought of as Japanese, but thanks for educating me on this!

I love to look close at pea family flowers. They are very cute.
