Wild Lupine

Buzzbee, these are wild lupine, I took this picture on a visit to the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains here in Washington State. I do not know if these are where your lupines derived from (or mine for that matter.) From what I have read there are wild lupines in a large part of North America, South America, in the mediterrean region of Europe and North Africa. The ones in my garden suffer from mildew so easily I think they have gone too far from the original.
