Aww - what a pity. I think a 20ft long squash would fill my whole veggie patch :-D

You are obviously a pro at growing veg! I am feeling very encouraged. I have got 2 butternut squash growing right now. I can see one fruit. Will it get a chance to mature before the winter comes in? I have also grown baby tomatoes, that went really well, I have had a lot and still picking them daily, I am pleased. Who knows what I might try next year?
