This is an old variety of rose and grows to about six feet. The main flush is now, but it carries a few blooms later in the season as well. It prefers a position in part shade (the flowers fade in full sun) and will grow quite happily in a north-facing position, although I have it against a west-facing fence. Don't feed it too heavily, or you will get a lot of leaves but not so many flowers.
