Squashy Sam gets a romantic call (Cucurbita maxima (Atlantic Giant))

I can't wait to try frying squash blossoms one of these days, and yet, since I only have one Marina di Chioggia, can I afford to eat any of the precious pre-fruits? I just planted a few zucchini squashes, maybe I'll eat their flowers.
