This is in a position that stays fairly moist and is heavy clay soil.I think moisture is the key as they can be grown as a pond marginal.Full sun is best,although this one gets a fair amount of shade.Having said that,this has seeded into cracks in the concrete nearbuy and one seedling has a flower.
