100mph winds - my guess would be Norway.

not to far off bonkers orkney islands ..............used to belong to norway
sorry arlene don't know pam carter, we have a famous painter here called judith glue who paints mostly the puffins and seals etc

not the place for solid brick walls by the look of it... maybe you could leave niches (openings) between the blocks ....? would decrease the wind resistance a little.

Know how you feel, islander, I live on an island too, and we had 100 km/hr gusts a week or so ago as well, with 50 mm of rain that day as well.
I guess I shouldn't complain, in another couple of months it would have been snow...
Do you get much snow during winter, Islander?
