I have to cut this back quite hard twice a year. The man in the market told me that it "might make 5ft."!

It doesn't get left alone, Michaella! I frequently have to cut three feet or more off the top because it shades the neighbour's sun-lounge and off the front because we can't get down the path! It's worth it though, for the flowers and the foliage.(Your garden's bigger than mine -I've been and had a look!)
