Do they last well in water, Angie?
That's a lovely one, I like it in white. :-)

i like the white best too Spritz, they are traditionally a bog plant, and can be hard to grow as they also like full sun, but not this variety, this is a shorter version,- one of the newer hybrids that can handle a bit of drought, - usually they don't like that at all. this one only grows to approx 3ft top wack, i also have a ground cover one in white which is really nice that also likes it hot and dry, it is just flowering i will add some pic's, i am not sure how to propergate? this one came into the shop last year... she does get some nice things my boss. :-)

No idea... I have two on the stream bank - red ones - doing really well there, and two in a flowerbed...the ones that are pink and go creamy. I can't remember their name.

they are lovely arnt they... i would imagine streem bank perfect conditions for them and the ones in flower bed may well be like mine the modern hybrids, are they in flower yet? i will look out for the pic's.
lol...i just realised what you ment about water... not the longest lasting, but not as bad as some things that sell like hot cakes, like sweet pea, or corn flower, daffodils etc. they don't hold up at all in oasis, but i think the problems is there are longer lasting simular options that are cheaper, such as miscanthus, solidago, and other grasses around the same time they are in season.
