Bupleurum fruticosum - 2015

This shrub has a reputation for being none too hardy and short lived. However, I've had mine for 14 years now and it has taken everything the weather has thrown at it. Full sun, decent drainage, and a hard prune to within a couple of buds of the old wood each spring should keep it happy. One word of warning - it's loved by flies so don't plant it near an open window or somewhere where you sit out.
