This is a superb shot B.

Beautiful and a lovely delicate shade. Is it compact or a bit weedy in growth?

27 Apr, 2011

That is so lovely! :o))

Thank you all. :-))

Vincent, it stays compact, unlike the blue version. It does spread a bit, but is controllable, and of course I pot some up for the plant stall each year! :-)

This is lovely, I only have the plain blue but it is in full flower at the moment......and spreading! But who cares, when it is so pretty. Had knotweed once, now thats a worry!

There's a plain white one, too. Did I post a photo? I like MOST Centaureas, but 'John Coutts', although his flowers are beautiful, is an out and out thug. To me, he's a bit like Knotweed - well, keeping him under control is just as bad, anyway. :-((

Love this, gone to favourites.

Oh, thank you Karen. Have you got this plant?

29 Apr, 2011

No, but it is tempting!! Thank you again!

I don't think you should have it, really - just look and enjoy this time. :-)))

Got some more geraniums today and erodiums too. Dug out loads of violets that were taking over the garden and replaced with my lovely new treasures!

1 May, 2011

Well done - I've got more as well - all that digging out of the nasty pink ones left me spaces for new ones! I only have Erodium manescavii...

Watch out for my new Geraniums...I'll be waiting to see yours, too. ;-)

What else?

See who else is growing Centaurea montana (Berg Centaurie).

See who else has plants in genus Centaurea.
