Specie dahlia growing 3 to 4 feet tall. Requires a sunny position and well drained soil. Should be hardy in warmer parts of the country (ie the tuber can be left in situ over winter).

Is it any more slug resistant than the others? I have given up on dahlias because of them.

Stera - this is the first time I've tried growing it. I've protected it with a copper ring to be on the safe side.

We have had it for a few years now, we have to use pellets.

Stera the flower is very small, compared to other dahlias, that is why my OH is not over enamoured with it, the foliage is very different though.
