Every single one of my white foxgloves is pink. Now, normally, I'd be hopping mad...after all, it's a green and WHITE garden! BUT this is exactly the same colour as the other non-white plant there....Rosa 'A Shropshire Lad' so it actually works really well! :)

yes, quite. Whereas in my case it was the nurserymen who thought....aha, let's have a laugh and mislabel all these foxgloves!

They are nearly all finished now, plenty of seedheads on them, would you like some?

Do you know Gralew, I think I'm going to stick with these..they are very pretty and they look amazing at the moment....not everything in the white garden has to be white! :)) thank you though! :))

Glad you're coming round to them!

That's an interesting thought Karen. I recently read an article that said the problem with making white gardens is that not all white flowers are pure white - some are creamy white and some are a grubby white.

Yes, that is so true Andrew. That's why I avoided Astrantia....not really white...more grubby white!

Astrantia major 'Alba' is white though - I've posted a photo of it last month

Either that or you'll have to buy a tin of white paint?
