I don't think it will, Dd - it's trained on a sort of trellis, and unless it decides to grow back onto the fence, I shall leave it as it is.

Yes, agreed, but I also have several 'free standing' ones. As this came on a trellis contraption, I'm leaving it as it is, at least for now.
