Yes, these survive, and we get fairly harsh winters. I wish I would have saved the seed packet so I knew which exact type they are! I started them sometime before 2001, which is when I started a journal (so nothing noted unfortunately). I did get them for the all red color, which I love in the garden. : )

Update - I found the seed packet, and this one is Gaillardia aristata 'Burgundy'.

This is a lovely colour. I know they are supposed to be perennials but do you find thet they survive the winter? Mine always seem to die after one season.
