Geniana saxosa - 2010

I'm excited by this alpine gentian as it has a reputation for being difficult. A New Zealand native, where I have seen it growing in the wild, it needs a cool, sunny position with well-drained soil and protection from winter wet. Supposedly short-lived but will self sow when happy
