Hello Drc,
Is this Mrs Bradshaw, do you know? I bought one labelled that name recently wch shld be that deep colour, but now I look at it again, the buds are very pale. I'm wondering whether to return it and ask for a proper orange one...

No mine is orange. I have had Mrs Bradshaw in the past and thought it was red? So I found this description of 'Mrs Bradshaw' - "A clump-forming perennial with hairy leaves and upright stems of semi-double, scarlet flowers. Height 40-60cm. Spread 60cm. Flowers from June to August. Full sun" If yours is pale pink? may be it will darken as it matures?

it's sort of peachy orange - I'm still in 2 minds, but being realistic will not get round to returning it!
