These are like a hot air balloon and a plane! :D
How much shelter from wind do they need Meanie? My Gloriosa that I bought on spec from Lidl is now shooting and I'm going to pot it into a larger container today. I might plunge that pot into the ground when it's warmer to bring in for winter at the end of the season.

I move mine indoors (garage) on windy days. If grown next to a fence it should be ok though.....

I think it'll be going into the volcano for the summer. That's fenced almost all the way round so each side gets sun for part of the day, but it does give some shelter.
