Hibiscus syriacus 'Lady Bracknell' - 2016

Hibiscus syriacus 'Lady Bracknell' - 2016 (Hibiscus syriacus)

Unknown variety, purchased twenty yeas ago. Neither the RHS, nor Notcutt's (who breed hibiscus) were able to identify it, so I gave it the name 'Lady Bracknell.' It is now growing in four gardens in the vicinity.

It is gorgeous Andrew. Looks little bit like 'Ardens Purple' but I like your name 'Lady Bracknell' better. Do you propagate it from cuttings?

Notcutts trialled it and grafted cutting material on to a rootstock. That's how we ended up with a few plants. Someone once suggested it looked like the variety 'Ardens'

Thanks for the info on propagating, Andrew.
