Hymenocallis festalis

Strictly speaking this is now Ismene x festalis.

The trick is too keep them a bit pot bound and not fuss too much.
In all fairness most of the bulbs sold are a year or two off of flowering size.

Mine only flower when they feel like it. I have them in pots and winter them in the greenhouse. This year they don't feel like it!

Mine usually flower but took last year off. They do better if pot bound in my experience.
