love these so much, have just been given a big one that someone else didn't want, hoping it survives. Watered it well and its in a sheltered spot so fingers crossed it survives, could not let them just throw it away. :O)

Mine were courtesy of the birds. I have transplanted some of them. Berries follow the flowers and they kept most of their foliage over winter as well, (I am near Lincoln), so I am very pleased with them.

Well I never, I live not far from Lincoln too, about 18 miles. You could say we are neighbours lol. Mine have never self set, but think it is because the soil bakes hard, we are quite heavy clay, although after saying that it has improved with all the mulching over the years. Great to see another yellow belly on here, actually I am an infiltrator yellow belly, been in Lincolnshire for about 50 years, was a Yorkshire pudding before then. lol.

Ha Ha, Olive Oil, hardly considered an infiltrator after 50 years!! I am very much a new infiltrator then, moved up here from Hertfordshire not quite 2 years yet, but really love it here in N Hykeham. Love being retired and having the time to spend in the garden. We are having lots of birds visiting now, numerous sparrows are coming with their fledglings, the feeders are having to be filled up frequently and the bird baths are in constant use! They provide great entertainment.
