Two plants in a vase. The spread is only 6". It also has varigated foliage. Flowers are normal size.

People around here get it confused with the weed and are afraid to plant it. Even though I have had it for several years, always in a different place, they still aren't convinced it's different from the weed ( which is one of those plants impossible to get rid of ).

Here in AZ, it's illegal to plant any species of Ipomoea--even the native ones--and all species of Convolvulus, except C. mauritanicus and C. cneorum. I would be amazed if C. tricolor would be a problem like bindweed, but that is the law. Oh, well!
