It is very nice and a much stronger plant than when it bloomed 2 years ago. This iris won the Dykes Medal in 2007. I will post another photo for you.

Great! I know it won a Dykes and its been used extensively by Fred Kerr for breeding (he has some smashing iris but not available in UK {:-(( ), but there is nothing like seeing it in a garden setting. Thank you.

Lori I order all of these special irises from Trails End Iris Garden in Ontario . They are very good to deal with .

Thanks Nancy...I'll give them a google. It sounds familiar. I ordered the I. pseudacorus from a local nursery who ordered it from an Iris specialist...maybe Trails End? lol.
