Can anybody out there please let me know of a flower/plant/shrub that will keep mosquitos out of the room. I've heard that certain pungent shrubs do the trick.
My wife and I visit Spain a lot and on each and every visit we get bitten beyond belief by those horrible little creatures.
Anybody with a good tried and tested solution out there please?

Kenya34- How about those very in inexpensive mosquito nettings that you hang over your bed? They're not supposed to care for the scent of the citronella shrub, that may be an old wives tale though...

It is star-shaped but does not look like the fragrant flowers in the leis sold all over Manila and elsewhere in the Philippines.
Think its a different flower.
