Very pretty and unusual, Andrew. I've had a look at your other 2 photos and it seems like an ideal shade plant. 2 -3 weeks is not bad, most Cherries don't last much longer but it does not stop people planting 'Purple Plums' and 'Kanzan' all over the place.
