Yet another picture of my lettuce's, I'm so proud of them as I have never grown them before, and they are coming on a treat!

Thanx, the black things sticking up are just some pegs I put in the ground, it's to stop the fleece touching the lettuce leaves :-) I've grown these undercover right from the start, fleece works really well and stops flys gettin on them. I put quite a lot of slug pellets down thou cos you still get the occasional slug fighting his way throu to munch but it's kept them off very well.

Wow, mine fell prey to snails/slugs, it's been so wet. My fault because I won't use slug pellets, in case birds eat the poisoned slugs. I will let the ducks out to feast on the little varmints when cropping is over
What are the bricks for?
