Growing up a wigwam, smells great in the evening.

I only know that when they are climbing they are not flowering. The flowers come from the part of the plant that has nothing to hold on to.

Im thinking of purchasing some Lonicera japonica 'Halls Prolific' or similar can you tell me whether these need a lot of support as Im thinking of having growing round a pergola, so maybe if I added some more grips like chicken wire round it, what would you suggest?
