Evening Lychnis

Lori

By Lori

Evening Lychnis (Lychnis flos-cuculi (Ragged robin))

A.K.A. White Cockle, White Robin, and White Campion!! single starlike flowers bloom overnight...sticky ...on my garden page I have a site address for wildflowers... It is not ragged robin as I had supposed because it looks nothing like it but I can't remove the label from the botanical name field.

for some reason I thought this plant was a phlox...turns out it's a Lychnis.

Interesting. I don't know this - it's not like my white campion!

What else?

See who else is growing Lychnis flos-cuculi (Ragged robin).

See who else has plants in genus Lychnis.
