Skunk cabbage

Skunk cabbage (Lysichiton americanus (Yellow skunk cabbage))

I don't think this smells, but I haven't encountered a skunk at close quarters! It is in my " bog" area, actually only an area that takes the run-off the conservatory roof. With Lamium behind.

trust me - you never want to encounter a skunk at close quarters. It could take days to get rid of the stench!
