I love these for winter colour. We have a different variety, Winter sun outside our front room window and it's very cheerfull on a dull winter day. I cut it down in the spring and took a couple of cuttings. They are bothe still green but I don't know if they have roots. Probably not. I've never tried cuttings of this before!

Great plant GF and can grow quite large....and nicely prickly - that should keep the deer at bay! Lovely flowers too....my one had to get the chop as it got "rust" AND mildew - probably because it was too close to other things...like a massive holly TREE! Don't think you will have that problem!!!
